Halloween Hunt = Goodies!

Where curiousity for the unknown lurks, the sense of fall season lures us in, just in time for Halloween. Sloth arms, monster masks, Dia de los Muertos skin & a sexy nurse costume are just a few items you can find at one of this year's first Halloween hunts, rightly called, the For the Love of Halloween Hunt. The entire concept design of the sim its held on, and the hunt prizes themselves, are nothing short of genius. Gray-scaled with a crazy octupus theme throughout, this sim definitely sets a spooky mood (be sure to listen to the music). In this hunt, you'll be looking for a gray maple leaf for the free prizes - and I'll give you a tip - some items are in the store, but most are outside of the store ; )

Not to forget - the vendors have made everything super affordable! There are several items for 100L and less, Oot!

Gear Up! Hair Fair, Designer's United & Unicef!

If you think there's nothing going on in Second Life - think again. Two big charitable events are already underway. The one we all love (and hate to maneuver through) is the annual Hair Fair. And as we should already know - that means be sure to take of those prim-heavy objects & scripts if you want to stand a chance of navigating through it.

Bandanas are once again being sold and 100% proceeds go to Wigs for Kids.

Next is The Unicef Project. It's a fundraiser where you get dibs on some exclusive items from some amazing designers/creators from across the grid all while helping out the organization. It will run from Sept. 4th through the 19th. Visit the sim and see all the items available here. To learn more about what Unicef is and who they help visit their official site here.

If you have any more Lindens to spare after all that, then head over to 4th installment of the Designers United event. The theme is 'Narcissus' and the event will only run for 12 days, after that, the items will no longer be available. A Different Kind of Bikini! Finally!!

Okay...Don't get me wrong. I LOVE BIKINIS in SL...Mainly because every single one of them fits and they ALL look amazing with my toned SL skins! But, there seems to be an excessive availability of string bikinis this summer.
