S.O.S Hunt! So long summer!

Well...it is almost that time to say so long and farewell to this scorcher of a season, and the Subtle City Shopping District is hosting one last hunt hoorah. Several well known, and not-so-well-known stores are participating in what is called the S.O.S Hunt. If you decide to hunt, you'll be searching for swirly ice cream cones. There's a total of 20 prizes filled with an array of items for both men and women. Check out some of the prizes below:

Yummy New Pumps!

Aloha lovelies! Summer is still in full swing and so is fun summer fashion in Second Life. Nardya Rousselot of NX-Nardcotix has just released these multi-colored heels called, Shana Unleashed. They come in several color options, and the one shown below is in White:

I had so much joy creating an outfit around Shana Unleashed because of all the color options and style options available to play with. I immediately went to my Apple May wardrobe and put on the Cara II Classic outfit (confession: I have been searching for the perfect pumps to complete Cara II since I got this outfit maybe a year ago now?!). Then, I found these lovely large earrings by 3636 called, Dropz Pinkz.

And, what better way to set off my posh swimsuit style than with a pair of *big* sunglasses! These are by Paper Couture called, Heirress. The updo I am wearing is by Loq Hairs called, Turkish, and is available for a limited time at The Dressing Room.

Time to go live it up now that I'm dressed and ready to go! Cheers!

Hair Fair Starts Tomorrow!

*Hears the hair angels sing*

Mm yeah...It must be a sure sign that it's that time of the year folks. So, quick question - have you been saving? Tomorrow marks the first day for Hair Fair 2011, and you'll only have 13 whole days to navigate through 4 (yes, four!) sims of locks. Speaking of locks, proceeds from all hairdos will benefit the real-life organization, Wigs for Kids. Wigs for Kids provides wigs to children who have endured a medical condition where the child has lost his/her hair.

There's several notable stores participating this year, including, but certainly not limited to, Elikatira, LoQ Hairs, Magika, Exile, Amacci and much-much more. To my surprise, there also seems to be a longer list of smaller/perhaps lesser-known hair shops - so, definitely worth checking out.

Caught You Looking..!

So loving the latest release from Butterfly Effectz. It's called 'Caughty You Looking.' This ensemble comes in several colors, and today I chose to show off the Peachy color. Check it out:

This ensemble sets a great example of what it means for an outfit to be fun and flirty - all the way from the close-knit fit to the sheer frills and bow on the hip. I envisioned this outfit going well with an upcoming pair of heels from Diktator called, Inna. However, they are yet to be released. You can catch a sneak peak of them here.

MESH is COMING!

TO Second Life that is! Okay, so this isn't a review NOR is it a compilation of current awesome items in SL; but rather, it's about a new fantastic feature coming to the next Second Life client which will transform nearly everything in the game. And, yes, it's called Mesh. There's all sorts of speculation right now about the power of Mesh and what it will all effect and to whom will it effect. I found a great video on YouTube that explains and shows what Mesh is and will do to the game of Second Life as we know it - as far as builds are concerned. Watch it here.

Imagine how avatars and clothes will look under the "Mesh-Influence." Fellow blogger and fashion designer, Siddean Munro, has posted a wonderful FAQ and a sample photo all about MESH here.

Fair Palooza, Links & Other Info!

Have you been snoozin' lately? If so, you might have missed the announcements of several expos and a fair that have already kicked off and those just kicking off.

First up - Skin & Shape Expo!

The Skin & Shape Expo has a long list of designers participating this year that includes, but certainly not limited to the following: Pink Fuel, Adam N Eve, Curio, Atomic, Leafy, Vive9, Imagen and more! It is no way associated with the Skin Fair! The Skin & Shape Expo only runs for 10 days, so that is technically now 'til the 20th (6 days left!) ...Teleport to the Skin & Shape Expo

Next up is the Home & Garden Expo! Even if you're homeless in SL (like me, at times), you might still want to stop by to see all the creative creations creators have prepared for this event. There's surely something for everyone! I know I will be heading there soon to stock up on inventory, because, turns out I don't have as much house items as I previously thought. The Home Expo just opened yesterday at noon and ends Sunday, May 22nd. For a complete list of participants visit the official blog here.

Last but certainly not least, Shoe Fair 2011:

Oh Yes! By the time I post this the Shoe Fair 2011 will have already kicked off! Did you think it just happened? Well, you're not alone. If you're like me, you mayy be thinking - didn't we just have one? But, really, if there was a shoe fair every week I wouldn't even protest! It's true. I love shoes and I'm so excited to go get my shopping on tomorrow! See all the new shoes at the fair this year here.

As with any fair or expo there are sure to be lots of avatars tp'ing in with scripts and heavy prims...so please, be kind and detach and everyone will be grateful for that much less lag in the sims!

The Diamond is Mine Hunt starts now through April 11th. One of the dozens of store participating is Pink Fuel. I stopped by there to begin my hunt ( I know - off track!), and I'm excited to say I found the Elly skin in Honey tone with both open mouth/closed mouth features. There are also different eyebrow color options! Check out Elly:

I have never tried on a Pink Fuel skin even though it's always been on my SL to-do list. So, surprisingly, I find myself in love with the overall quality of Mochi Milena's skins - the lips are glossy, the eyeshadow bright and the highlights of the toned body detail are right on point. Definitely a treat for skin-lovers!

I just want to commend our designers in Second Life who make it affordable to splurge on great products! It's seems like such a rarity to find a truly incredible deal, gift and/or dollarbie while out and about shopping. My photo below features just those kind of deals from designers who I feel are on the consumer's side of saving! Good looking out!

Not only is this hair awesome - it's an absolutely free gift by Dark Mouse. That means it is actually 0L and *YES* its a fatpack!! *Pauses for everyone to take that in for a second* Next…How amazing is this skin? It’s from a new skin shop that just opened called, Change. It comes with cleavage and hair base options, /me smiles for that. And, drumroll please! My entire outfit is by a little shop called, Guarded Teens, and it’s only 75L..NOTE: this outfit does include hair and shoes, too, but is not shown above* Guarded Teen has several other ensembles for the same price and come with just as much! New Boots!

Hello out there blogosphere! Here's to hoping that you're having a wonderful Sunday night...Tonight, I'm sharing with you new boots that have something in common with me... my name - Tekila! They are sequined and are McQueen-inspired (or Miss Gaga, if you prefer). I snapped so many shots in them it was hard to pick which to use to show you all! Check them out:

It's Snowing Presents!

One of Second Life's largest organized hunts is set to begin Wednesday, December 1st. It's called the Peace on Earth hunt... The list of participators has been scaled down to 300 (yes, only! *smiles*)...I'm really looking forward to trying on Rockberry's hunt prize, the Kalista skin pack:

This next part is not easy...I'm saddened to announce the closing of the Starlust sims...If you are new to Second Life...don't shop much, at all...'been under a rock for some time'...then, you should feel sad, too. Starlust has always been a unique sim where more than the imagination gets to run wild...It truly has been a staple and ambassador for creative freedom. No other sim has come as far and as successful as the Starlust. A final party is scheduled and everyone is welcomed:

Today's Bargain Finds!

Halloween Hunt = Goodies!

Where curiousity for the unknown lurks, the sense of fall season lures us in, just in time for Halloween. Sloth arms, monster masks, Dia de los Muertos skin & a sexy nurse costume are just a few items you can find at one of this year's first Halloween hunts, rightly called, the For the Love of Halloween Hunt. The entire concept design of the sim its held on, and the hunt prizes themselves, are nothing short of genius. Gray-scaled with a crazy octupus theme throughout, this sim definitely sets a spooky mood (be sure to listen to the music). In this hunt, you'll be looking for a gray maple leaf for the free prizes - and I'll give you a tip - some items are in the store, but most are outside of the store ; )

Not to forget - the vendors have made everything super affordable! There are several items for 100L and less, Oot!

And as we should already know - that means be sure to take of those prim-heavy objects & scripts if you want to stand a chance of navigating through it.

Jaydee Designs, A Must Read!

A name soon to become household in Second Life, Wiraya Johin, is a designer on the rise creating a leading high quality brand within her store, Jaydee Designs. Wiraya is no stranger to the design world, starting only a mere 2 1/2 years ago in-world. Her RL knack for design translated over naturally for Wiraya as she sought after outfits not offered in Second Life. Several of her works ranges in taste, as well as styles, for the independent woman. Below are just a few of the many creations you can find being currently offered at Jaydee Designs.

Outfit 1, Wrapped in Silver
Wrapped contains extensive dressing possibilities, allowing you to alter how you want the upper half to look - that is - if you want the upper half to show at all! Wrapped is a daring ensemble that shows much skin, depending how it's worn. As the name implies, Wrapped appears to wrap nicely around the body with spaces between each piece of material, limitedly revealing even more skin.

Outfit 2, Raw Black
Raw Black carries an exotic and very feminine presence & even can be considered near gorean style. A very versatile style, indeed. Raw Black is actually one of Wiraya's older designs, while the others pictured are newer. Raw Black comes in one layer option only for the top and pants; but, already we can see Wiraya's wantingness to give customers option by providing Raw Black's attachments with scripted resizing menus & one without it. The quality is still present and uniquely shows the level of quality Wiraya was at during the time of Raw Black's release and the multitude of how far she has come with the incredible detail of her present work.

Outfit 3, After Midnight in Red
the name and color nearly say it all - a racy, sexy woman is meant to wear this ensemble proudly. Though a mini-skirt is provided, it is so mini that the crotch area is still revealed, making the use of the 2 layered optional panties provided helpful. A definite must have for those who dont mind being a bit risque. After Midnight comes with 8 attachments/add ons available, a zipper is even provided!- Jaydee Designs does not miss a beat. Details are a common component in each outfit, expressing the designer is giving an added effort to enhance consumers SL wardrobe experience.

Outfit 4, Black Seduction
This particular outfit comes with 5 attachments, 1 of which is a belly piercing, a skirt add-on & multiple layer options. A foreseeable dancer/escort outfit one can use it to tease with the covered/open layer options to play with...And, no, this outfit isn't quite crotchless! It comes with two layer options for panties - for those of you who actually wear any :)

Outfit 5, Secrets BW
Last, but not least, Secrets is all about being wrapped in a chained outfit, much like how secrets can be kept chained up.However, Secrets is not doing a great job at keeping everything under wraps b/c a lot of skin shows- making this Secrets outfit more revealing than concealing in a sexy manner. Secrets comes with 8 attachments -1 jacket layer, 1 pants layer for panties, gloves & stockings.

Fashion Foward: (Yuli) & ANA_Mations

Sexy & Chic is in full swing at Yuli Orman's fashion store, Yuli! Three years into SL designing, Orman continues to create both classy and playful ensembles with scripted accessories and sculpty objects. A mixture of Yuli's pieces have been selected for review below:

Outfit one, Cassie Pleated Dress in black & pink

Party time!! At least look the part with this hot mini pleated dress. Cassie comes with one sheer & one solid version. Not only does the majority of Yuli's outfits come in multiple colors, they also come in multiple layer options - yay for choices! The skirt is sculpted and scripted for resizing.

Handbag 70 by (Yuli), an entirely customizable/scripted purse to change the size and color of it. Great texturized accessory.

Outfit two, Alyssa Chic & Sexy Dress in black & wine

Cassie's 'party pretty' friend is Alyssa. This dress is cinched along the middle of the frontside of the body, drawing the eyes in and down the vertical line. This dynamic piece also comes with ruffles and straps across a slightly exposed upper back. The textures and seam lines match and smooth out nicely. Alyssa comes in a jacket & pant layer only. A scripted beaded necklace is also included.

Outfit three, Jeanne Lace Gown & Lingerie in sand

Class it up with Jeanne. This multi-purpose ensemble is perfect for a romantic evening. Options are plentiful in layers and how you prefer your gown: strapless or with straps. Three flexi skirts are included, too: long, medium & mini. A neck ruffle, long gloves and thigh-high stockings are the accessories included - allowing you control over how much, or how little, you want to wear.

The overall textures of this outfit are of great quality - zoomed in closely or not. I give this outfit a high thumbs up for an overall must buy!

Outfit four, Alma Stripper Dress in black

Yes! The name says it all! Alma is a teaser for the teases in Second Life! This 3 part outfit makes stripping much easier - everything is there for you (or someone else) to peel away piece by piece. Start with one strap, remove your skirt and then as things heat up - take off the other strap - then shed the dress all together to be just in your panties without ever having to worry about putting on something to conpensate what you wish you could do before! Alma is not only a fantastic idea, but Alma is a great deal. Alma comes in every layer possible and in several colors. Yuli has graciously included a scripted necklace, earrings and bracelet set. Alma is another must-have in any dancer or teases naughty closet!

The London Influence

Second Life brings the many wonderful folds of designer diversity into one platform. Coming from the UK, London-native, Jaimee Benelli, has been custom designing for years in SL and continues to create for her store, Liberty's of London. Benelli creates male & female outfits, as well as jewelry and special lingerie. Up for review are more recently items out in-store now:

Left: Plunge Wool JumperDress - Red Spice
Warm enough yet? The JumperDress is not only short, but reveals the assets in a plunging neckline. The sculpted sleeves, skirt piece and collar are all modifiable. The wool texture is rich and pixelation is not present. The only downside is that there is limited clothing layer options.

Right: Silk Tie Corset Dress in Red
This sassy business piece does come with some wearable options. The tie is textured onto the shirt already; but, if you prefer a collar with the tie, then an attachable tie with collar is available. All the sculpted attachments are modifiable. Noticeably, there is a seam line along the shirt and pant layers; however, there is no gap between each (which can sometimes occur with between the layers). The texture also appears to be hand-drawn around the tie on the shirt layer - a nice touch.

Left: Prive Style Sage
This shirt & pant layer ensemble comes with a modifiable sculpted skirt. Seams between each layer are not so noticeable, unless perv-cammed in. The teal designs give this strapless mini-dress a trendy-fun feel.

Right: RadioActive Dress - Winter Blue
Like the Prive Style, RadioActive comes in a shirt & pant layer and a sculpted mini skirt piece. Again, the seams along the two layers are noticeable. The rings on each hip and middle of the breasts draw the eyes along the body, giving a subtle sexy aura to the onlookers. This outfit is definitely club or beach ready!

I start with introducing you to not 1 - but a crew of designers, whom I met just before my break, creating as rapidly as their imagination flows. Howard Lindley & Lilli Yang are the proud creators of .:: HLD ::., a trendy retailer filled with sassy designs for the flirty and bold alike. Clothes Horse!

Sensualism, fitting & stylish are merely a few words to describe the wonderful designs and ideas Claire Harford has brought to Second Life fashion. Founder of Clothes Horse, Harford brings consistent quality in the bright beginning of her boutique. Before starting the review, I would like to first mention that Clothes Horse is participating in Breast Cancer Awareness Month by offering this lovely sweater dress, in which 100% of the proceeds will go to breast cancer research.

Outfit One: Gina

Warm and cozy Gina comes with several layers, a convenience noticeable in each outfit. Layers include: 1 pant layer for coverage under the skirt in the same texture as the skirt; 2 layers for the dress top (shirt & undershirt); 2 turtleneck layers (shirt & undershirt); 2 stocking versions (thigh high & low rise); 1 Flexi belted skirt & 1 sculpted collar. Each attachment is modifiable, making it better to fit the belted flexi skirt to size. As seen before, belted skirts can be challenging to fit perfectly. There are also two small buttons in the front that may get buried in bustier cleavage. Texture-wise, Gina is superb. The patterned babydoll is consistent and shows no to little seams on the sides. The simple red belt is shaded along the outer edges. Shading/highlighting is a big part of what makes the turtleneck and stockings smooth-looking. Overall, a quality outfit to stay warm in during the fall season.

Outfit Two: Sofia, natural (Click to see full)

Sofia, Sofia! Natural, beautiful, comfy & very in-season. Sofia comes in two pant layer options: one regular, the other - a skinny version. The cuffs & collar are both sculpted and the skirt of the jacket is flexi. All attachments are modifiable. Detail-wise, Sofia comes across as an original piece, the white lines, more specifically, really help define the style of this long coat. The wrinkled, shaded tan-colored texture appears to be of a soft suade type material with hardly any noticeable hard/jagged edges or seam lines. The jacket itself can be worn either with or without the skirt, giving the wearer more options to mix and match.

Skin & Shape Expo!!!

I'm so overjoyed with excitement! The Skin & Shape Expo begins tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 26th. Do you feel the lag already??? Luckily, the expo will be open until October 10th (2 weeks). The delicious expo will be held on the KMADD sim - I'll be sure to update this post with SLURLs for anyone who may need one. In the meantime, here's a few tips to help fight the first week of major lag:

Tip #1, Bald is beautiful & the newbie limp is okay so be sure to detach all prims and scripts from your avatar.

Tip #2, Demos! Collect all the demos you want and tp out to try them.

Tip #3, Put your graphics on low. This will help your computer load the graphics faster. Go to Preferences > Graphics > check Custom > check Bump Mapping & Shining > check Basic Shaders > check Avatar Imposters > check Hardware Skinning > Apply > Ok!

There are going to be several new skin line releases with some of the biggest name skin makers in Second Life. I have seen some of the new releases and they are amazing!

Everyday, I log into SL & look over notecards and notices and aimlessly go through my bulging inventory. I was tp'ing around to skin stores I have not recented. Some were no longer there, some moved & some are still around and going strong, one of those stores is Skin Tight. The very generous & talented designer, Myrtle Spyker, recently sent the group gift below via subscribe-o-matic:

This strikingly gorgeous skin is very original in a SL world where many skins can start looking alike. Four tones are in the gift &, as if the designer wasn't generous enough, there is also a lucky chair with a set of skins in-store (not shown) that are just as beautiful as the subscribe-o gift.

Vive 9 & Donna Flora

* Alluring Secrets *

Talented, with an eye for beauty, the modest Alluring Secrets designer, Hotla Hoodoo, possesses all the above. Hoodoo's works are elegant, but are also made with a touch of sass. Hoodoo has been designing for years in sl - even longer in rl - and is unquestionably an artist to watch for in both worlds. Below are a few of her latest fall fashion pieces up for review:

Outfit 1, Eternity Gown in Copper & Salmon

Eternity is classy and very feminine when greeting the eye while presenting a mere touch of risqueness with the reveal of partial cleavage, too. More technically, as with most designs, the trim directly under the breasts is a bit pixelated, as well as the lace of the gloves when zoomed in - unless someone is set on extremely zooming in, the pixelation should not be a problem. Eternity comes with both jacket and pant layers, gloves, a tie-string for the back & 2 skirt options: one sheer, the other solid (shown above). There are 4 attachments in all, all manually modifiable. . . I say manually since SL is seeing more resize scripts in attachments.

Eternity's backside reveals the length of the back, dipping in an acute v-cut as far down to pass a panty line. The back's exposed skin is partially covered by a laced up copper string. Aside from some pixelation near and underarms, zoomed in, the quality of Eternity's textures & cuts are superb.

Outfit 2, Slacked in Olive

Slacked is semi-casual wear and it offers a chance to mix & match with other garments in different layers. It comes in a jacket layer for the outter part & a shirt layer for the tank top. There are 6 ruffles for the Blouse that are not modifiable. The multi-layers of these frills are flexi and give a nice wave when moving, very subtle and natural. The midriff, slighty sheer tank top has a lace design along the top held up by spaghetti straps. The lace looks mildly blurry when zoomed in, but is accetable good quality. The pants come in 2 layers: one with boot cut (shown above) & the other with a slight flare. The dark denim jeans have a detailed shadowed/highlighted line running down the middle front. This lengthens and draws focus inward, creating a skinnier, long-leg look.

Outfit 3, Tootsy in Red

Racy, wild & just plain fun. Tootsy in red comes with a silver metal belt & black leather thigh-high boots with a twisted chain lining the backside of the lower leg. Tootsy's belt is very commanding, reminiscent of the big Texas-type buckles that say, "I'm in charge here." By design, the belt's thick band makes the lower torso appear smaller. The plunging neckline is nothing far from bold & sexy as it's marked by the folded back flaps of its upper half. A single button holds this onesy outfit together. Texture-wise - its fabulous! The cuts & seams hold true to their designs & there are no apparent jagged edges.

Only 3 months into the virtual world of fashion design, Kendall Freenote is creating a variety of SL apparel ranging from uptown chic to punk rock glam to sweetheart casuals and back again. Here are a *few* designs by Kendall, available in her store, up for review:

Part One, High Waist Studded Skirt

The high waist studded skirt is patterned with silver metallic triangles. The mauve-like color is the undertone color featuring an elastic type waistband. Like the texture, the cuts of the skirt are decent. This skirt comes in a Jacket & Pant layer, with a modifiable prim attachment for the bottom-half of the short lengthed skirt. This would be great to pair with one of Freenote's many blazers, but being that it is only a Jacket layer for either - it is not yet possible.

Part Two,Times Square Jacket

Tricky, that's what this texture is. It may appear a bit pixelated, but then again its a certain type of material the texture is portraying - a fuzzy, cotton wool type. Shadows are plentiful in this piece, giving a layered put-together look. The sleeves are manually modifiable sculpties & the blazer itself is only available in a jacket layer. The backside of this blazer is very interesting as in the darkened detail lined down the spine from neck to tail. This centers the focus inward, thinning the shape of the avatar.

Part Three, Vintage Rose Dress

I love vintage pieces! This near rustic-textured piece is very feminine while paying homage to a style not always seen in SL fashion while still keeping it modern & flirty. The off the shoulder short dress comes in both Jacket/Shirt & Pant layers. The skirt is sculpted & modifiable. Though pretty to the eye, there are a few flaws with this particular dress. It's difficult to resize the sculpted skirt with the belt attached to it: If you downsize too much, part of the belt gets lost in the avatar's body; If you expand, you risk having the belt too loose with parts of the sculpted skirt showing in either the front or back (bottom right). Last part may not be a big deal to some; however, there is extra shadowing along the top of the outfit.

Medley! What a fun & energetic name for a shop! Medley is presented by the generous upcoming SL virtual artist, Arriah Fiertze. Indulging the Sl design world, Fiertze is creating skins, shirts and deviant piercings. Here a few items you can find in-world and in-store:

Part One: Skin, Never Sees Sun - Scene

Okay, YES SL world! There are tons of skin makers who are rocking socks daily! Lets show some love to those not so well known. Arriah has detailed her skins, offered in dark and light tones, to the best I have seen a fresh and very new skin maker to have done so. This particular skin is soft, not realistic, meaning the details are there but look airbrushed. In SL, that is pretty much the divide. Since this skin is soft and offers highlights in the best asset of places - it already looks more feminine to the eye. The facial makeups come in 7 versions each. With soft made skin, hair by Truth or truth-like, typically work best. At 250L for a single skin - this is a must try! Back to details though... There is NO apparent seams on this skin, which is very hard to find for a new skin maker.Highlights and lowlights appear to be set appropiately.

Part two, Striped Sweater in Pink with Snake Bites Lip Piercing

Two layers are available for this top - shirt with or without gloves, meaning, you can either wear it long sleeved or not. The cut of this top is not jagged enough to notice, if at all, & the folds in it could be more detailed; but, this top does have enough boldness in color and quality to work with any realm of skin quality. The lip ring *sucks her teeth to ease the pain* is arrowed double head and is only available in a dark metal texture.

Outfit Three, Hip Hop is SL Lost, 1L Gift

Okay! This is *SO, SO, SO* an EXCLUSIVE!!! For my fellow followers & then some, a gift has been set out for 1L! This tee that asks where the real Hip Hop is at? in Second Life. . .Real hip hop is not the same as the Party Hip Pop and Techno you hear today...Its classy and original...Ty for being part of a movement to revive real music Arriah! You can get this at her shop, as well as two skins for *ONLY 50L!* The one I'm wearing here plus another *smiles*

Dead Lethal...Couture smirks

Sassy, confident, modern, flirty & fun are just a few words to describe the fresh-off-the-street designs envisioned by new designer Emerald Emor. Her shop, Lethal Couture, is more exclusive than most - located in a strip mall. Nevertheless, Emor will soon open her own fashion filled sim! Details to come. But, to take that next step Emor has been creating outfits not typically found in you're better, well-known, shops. Below are a few outfits up for review - nothing doctored.

Outfit One, Plaid Scrunch Top in Yellow

The centered bow in the mid-section creates the overall cutesy look of this particular outfit. The skirt and arm bands are sculpted and modifiable, making it easier to fit to any shape. The arm bands are also sculpties and hold true to their overall design and texture well. This outfit only comes in one layer - jacket. Now, we have all been perv-cammed, I assume! (hehe) And yes, though the texture looks fine from afar, it does lose some quality and becomes blurry when zoomed in. The seams are not lined up perfectly, but, even so, they do not create direct attention to the average eye. Overall, this outfit opens up free range, concerning styling! Any leggings, denim, etc will go great with this top.

Outfit 2, High Waist Plush Dress in Gold & Blue

This club/celeb-like outfit comes in a shirt & pants only layer with 2 skirt prim attachments, one flexi. It is a very young and flirty outfit with an energized impression. The textures do appear a bit stretched and blurred when zoomed in and out. Concept-wise, this outfit is ideal for a fun-filled night, showing off the better body assets one has.

Outfit 3, Cheetah Racerback Dress in Red

HOT!...okay, I said it! Red is definitely coming back in a major way this season - so let it sizzle! The red in this particular outfit compliments the wild nature of the big cat print. It comes in shirt & pant layer only along with a 3-tiered flexi skirt. Aside from the last two outfits, the cut of the top is not so noticeable - it holds true when zoomed in and out. There is less degradation of texture with this outfit, too. This outfit can be worn almost anywhere - becomming a more univeral design.

IndigoBlue Dagostino continues to capture my attention with not only her eye for design, but her knack for quality in her designs. I am pleased to finally review Ms. Dagostino's virtual fashion art. Outfit One: Kira Wedding Gown

For every outfit, there are several layers for top and bottom - very helpful if you want to wear another layer not associated with the outfit. . .This gown comes with a traditional veil that rests behind the head, a long train and lengthy skirt option..The detail within the skirt itself is very high quality when zoomed in & out...though the top appears to be of good quality it does get a bit rough on the edges, especially around the straps. Overall, this is a very lovely gown to celebrate ones most memorable and special day in : )

Outfit Two: Giselle Bridal Lingerie

Hands down, Giselle Bridal Lingerie is kinky and sweet! It comes with two skirt options & all layers for both top and bottom, with optional garter. . .The quality is an improvement from the straps bogging down the quality of the Kira set. The folds/creases seemingly correspond to the body...Definitely a must have.

Outfit Three: Francesca Dress in Red

This dress actually comes with two skirt length options, the one you see here & a longer version - pardon me for not showing the other....This dress received several compliments...I think it's because the quality of it, zoomed in & out holds true to its intentional design...It is both elegant & sexy. Red is definitely due for comeback this season *smiles*

Hell yeah...I love pink - is it still the new black? Hasn't it always been?! This isn't so much of a review, rather its me buying oodles of yummy pink stuff in-world and me wanting to share it with you all! There's some new shops in this post - at least shops not so blogged about, and yes, some that have been blogged banged already. No photo doctoring, as usual. So enjoy & happy shopping :)

1. Bikini Time! Courtesy of Doux Petit Dahl - out now! This is the Zebra kini. I'm wearing hair from (fd), better known as Fashionably Dead. I feel dead sexy in this one! DPD definitely has great stuff out at the moment.

2. Just shopping and feeling good in my pink get up found at the *50L Sale* at Pink Outfitters & Cherry (shoes)! I believe that sale ends at the end of this month, so in other words - run! The quality of the textures are very well designed. Hair is by Pacadi Jasha, Roos in mocha. Earrings by P!NK !NC.

3. Lingerie can get to looking all the same: 2-piece with garter, lace and so on....This one piece called, Lambini in hibiscus, does have lace, but is subtle, laying along the satin look of this one piece. It is from Pacadi Jasha - the sim is full of great hair, skins, clothes, shoes & accessories of all great texture/design quality. And yes, one of the main designers used to own Maeva prior to the partnership. :) Hair is by Posh, Lolli Sexy Buns in blonde.

Not only do the creators of Entropy share a love for one another, but they also share a love for the quality and the process of design. Dirk Ingmann & Whisper Stella are budding fashion designers, collaberating together to put out a selection of shoes, skirts and accessories. Below is an ensemble called, Celtic Plaid, featuring a few of their items:

I'll say it first in the blogosphere - these boots are hot! The high rise of the heels gives the overall boot a lengthy look, which compliments the legs. The detail of the thick strings covering the upper foot & ankle, as well as, the lace wrapped around the boots, appears to have been constructed with time & skill. The boots come with ivisiprims & the texture holds solid when zoomed in. Not to forget, the boots come with flexi tassels in the back that shimmer in local lighting. The boots come in a variety of colors - this color is called, Myst. The mini skirt comes with two different attachable options: one for the pelvis & the other for the stomach. The quality of the textures are as good as the boots and matching bangles.

Entropy has also recently joined other SL designers across the grid for the upcoming Satisfashion Hunt, starting August 1st - August 31st. Also available in-store is Midnight Mania.

Donna Flora - Couture with flair

Designing clothes is not just about technique in SL - it's also about having imagination and lots of perserverance! Squinternet Larnia, owner & designer of Donna Flora, creates gorgeous outfits, jewelry, hair, skin, shoes and well! lots... Larnia's expanding collection remains impressive. Below are a few examples of her work, in which I have reviewed unbiasedly.

Outfit 1: Charlie

Charlie is a 3 outfit in 1 ensemble. The skirts are all modifiable. The 1st skirt is flexi. The middle skirt is part sculpty, while the 3rd skirt is a prim. The textures do not blur when close up - one thing I tend to look for - and they look held together when zoomed out. The only minimal trouble area is the cute of the straps. However, this is not noticeable from a distance. Overall, a very nice ensemble.

Outfit 2: Gigi in Azur

Gigi in Azur is fun, flirty and trendy. The puffy skirt is a modifiable prim. Jewelry & handbag are also Donna Flora items. This outfit comes with this particular hangbag. The texture on the sculpted purse is moderate in comparison to the texture detail of the rest of the outfit, but it manages to pull the outfit together for a complete look. The top and underpants come only in a shirt and pants layer.

Outfit 3: Ester

Ester comes with 2 skirt options: a mini skirt prim & a system mid-length skirt. There is one shirt layer option and 2 pant layer options only, depending on which skirt you choose to wear. The texture appears satin with diamond-type jewels embodying it. Donna Flora also offers matching jeweled heels. In many outfits, I have found Donna Flora keeps her outfits pulled together with a single theme. In this outfit, soft and shiny seems to be the theme with the satin feel and diamonds adorning the skirt and bow belt. Also pictured here, is hair by Donna Flora called, Danae, in blonde. The texture of the hair is rich - shiny- and of higher texture quality, considerably according to those found in SL.

Squinternet Larnia is definitely a designer to watch as she delves further in her designing ventures. If you are new to the game, low on lindens or just like a nice gift, Larnia has generously placed a few 1L items for all to have.

Hair Fair '09!!!!

OH YEAH BABY!!! The ever primtastic event, known as the Hair Fair, is near! And to boot, there is an awesome contest underway on Flickr.com. SO! If you haven't made an account with Flickr, do not panic...here's a few things to know: It's free to make an account; if you have yahoo you automatically have flickr...just use the same ID and password to sign in; Flickr does have some photo editing features both for free and paid accounts; its easy and several SL members are already on the site sharing their shots. Soooooo! Hair lovers, photogs and the like, be ready to get creative and snap, photoshop, paint shop and so on away! Not to forget, if you've ever been to a Hair Fair in Second Life...you know that it can be somewhat laggy, almost excrutiatingly. Typically, if one is planning to attend, its most recommended that one should detach all prims from his/her avatar and even rid of any scripts (ie AOs, radars). This year, I decided to attempt to make my own skin, everything already 'painted' on ;) I'll let you know how it goes! Til then - stay tuned!

Hairrr Affair!

Okay...i'm guilty! I've been sneaking on SL every night to shop for hair!!! All kinds of hair...especially hair in hats and have I found some yummy ones! Aside from that....I was kindly informed of a newer Japanese beauty salon called, Cri-Cri. The hairs are very cute...but what caught my attention was the many options each hair comes with! Right now, Cri-Cri offers group members an awesome 4 pack of 4 different hairs with countless options to style each doo to your liking - and yessss, there's two hat versions!! In store, I did the 20 minute camping chair and received an awesomeee bag that comes with poses and an AO! It's majorly cute and comes with animated poses to boot. This shop owner is mighty generous! Have a look around if you're in the mood for hair shopping - I definitely recommend it :) Pic below with the goodies!

Fresh faces are popping up around the grid in time to start off the Spring season. With many notable and established skin designers out there - it can be hard to find a skin that everyone and their SL moms isn't wearing! That is. . .until I came across a shop called Mai. Designer, MiraSonia Demina has a new collection of skins out, in tones named after the phases of the day. I am very impressed with the great amount of detail that has gone into making Demina's latest collection. It is quite refreshing to see the amount of artistry in this new line called, Mia. I have reviewed two different tones in the Mia collection.

First: Mia Sunrise Skin in Vol. (click here for full size)

Fresh, Gorgeous, Highly detailed and exotic are just a few words that immediately come to mind after putting the Mia Sunrise Vol. 6 skin on for the first time. The makeup is a mix of Spring colors, but not overly done. There's this hint of natural beauty while closely looking over the facial detail. Mia offers full lips, a defined nose and eyes that can catch anyone elses. Further examining, the detail of the breasts and stomach have a very natural flow, as well. There are no signs of seams on the sides or below the navel. The ribs are not showing as much as other skins show - so this skin does not make you look like you have starved you're entire SL life! The legs and hands are also considered. Not only do the front of the knees get definition through careful shading, but also the backs of the knees, too! The fine lines and notches from underlying bones appear to have been carefully considered of their placement during the making of Mia. There's even cute dimples on the lower back (not pictured)! The Mia skin appears athletic with an undeniable sex appeal to boot.

Last: Mia skin in Sunset in Vol. 3

This particular tone is darker, more ebony-like. Ebony skins can sometimes look too orange. However, Mia in Sunset appears to have a more realistic dark brown skin color with soft hints of a rosey pink. The makeup around the eyes is done in the smokey effect - a very dramatic way to make the eyes stand out - and that they do! The lips are a light pink, full and pouty. The blush is subtle. The body is very well detailed as much as the Mia in Sunrise is, highlighted in the right places - making this a very nice pick for a darker tone!

The Mia skins come in two types: one with hair and one bald. MiraSonia has also provided two types of lashes and a face light. There are several more makeups in the Mia collection, again these were two that I chose to show - a very hard choice as there were many great makeup combinations! I am finding that Mira must have many other talents that I am sure we can all follow and see in the future. Along with skins she creats dashing realistic eyes that have a realistic glare in them. The eyes worn here are free at Mai. The black panties and black top are also a lingerie set you can find for free amongst the other goodies.

Ivori Pera, designer & owner of Kiwi, has a new store! Kiwi is one of the first stores I ever shopped at many SL moons ago. I am pleased to see Kiwi is still around & doing well. Here a few of the newer items out at the store! I will be reviewing them - again, no pictures have been doctored.

First Up: Julien Gown in Blue

Radiance: one word to describe the Julien Gown. It comes with a jacket & pant layer and a long flexi skirt. The empire waist finished off with the contoures of the tube top accentuates the overall fit on any avatar body type. The complimentary Spring colors of green and blue are well blended throught the outfit, moreso along a faint cheetah-like pattern on the skirt. The slit in the front offers a peekaboo effect at the legs, stopping at the bottom of the one piece underneath, which can still be seen throught the subtly sheer designed skirt. Truth be told, I received many compliments about this particular gown. It is quite eye-catching with close-up detail quality to boot!

Second Up: Pearly Gown in Cream

If the Pearly Gown was an M&M, I'm pretty sure it would melt in my mouth. . .From the cuts, to the beaded detail against the nude material chosen for this particular outfit, everything comes together. The Pearly Gown comes in a shirt & pant layer, along with the long flexi skirt shown. The skirt is not modifable, perhaps the only request I would put in for this outfit. Modifying the skirt would allow different avatar body types to fit the skirt to their slider measurements more accurately. More about the gown itself: it's elegant. One thing I'm noticing about Kiwi's gowns is the subtle hints of sexiness while still keeping it classy and mature. The cleavage line on this dress reveals just enough of the breasts to lead the eyes further down to the clasp. Again, this is an empire waist dress, OR one could think of it as a long skirted babydoll dress. The cream color is complimented nicely by the flesh-colored upper half, which, from a distance, gives the perception of a nude upper half graced by the beaded work only. The wavy cut of the bottom of the skirt gives flow to a dress, even when in a static position. Overall, this seamless gown is a must have.

Third Up: Bella Outfit in Gold

Bella is one of Ivori's latest outfits. It's a fun, party girl type of outfit. The cuts in the top are very much unique. I especially love the shimmering texture of the top and pants - it gives a liquifying feel of sorts. The top is especially sexy. It looks wet and thin straps cross past the upper body. The pants have a thick belt on them and come in the same color as the pants. It also comes with two prims to give the regular skinny jeans look a more flared out feel. This outfit would be great for anyone who loves the club type scene.

Last but not Least: Marie Sweater & Boots with scarf & legwarmers

I decided to mix it up a bit with the Marie-like items! First off, you can either wear a scarf or a full half sweater. The sweater is made of prims - there are no clothing layers to wear. Clothing like this is becomming more common in SL. There is a slight drawback when wearing prims - if someone has his/her draw distance set low, the prims disappear to only then reveal whatever you have underneath (which can sometimes be nothing so your bits will show!). The scarf is amazing. The folds are very realistic and the textures used throughoutt the Marie sweater items are all very high quality (not pixelated) and realistic looking. The legwarmers are modifiable, as well as the shoes. The shoes for the Marie line look like snow shoes but the textures for the foot part could be a little better to match the quality of the rest of the line. The versatile pants in this outfit are from the Bella outfit!

Exposed in Blacklace!

Designer Mariska Simons of Blacklace is giving us more by dressing us in less. Below are two sets in review. *NOTICE* No pictures have been tampered with, they are straight shots to bring you the best visual of their naturalist look.

The First Outfit

Eye-catching, the first word that comes to mind. Simple uses of the two colors, pink and black, are bringing the outfit together. The pink, bringing eyes right to the top as they move down to the sheer mini skirt resting along the seams of the low rise panties. This set comes with the gloves & stockings. The fishnet stockings are reminiscent of the vintage pinup era. For the pervs and designers who love to see you zoomed in, the quality of the texture appears a bit pixelated & some edges rough. Zoomed out, the quality appears higher & has a double-taking status.

The Second Outfit

Can any other stockings be as sexy as the vintage pinup style? I'd love to see! These thigh highs compliment the rest of the outfit, which is a high cut one piece brought together by lace, tied up in a corset manner along the midsection. It also comes with open ended gloves, which also tie up via lace, giving fingers room to play if one so chooses. The cuts on outfit 2 are much cleaner, front and back. There is wrinkle detail along the front, giving it a more realistic feel. The variation of blue highlights and black are used nicely to give the impression it is of leather material. The rhinestone detail is a bit pixelated and I can only assume they are rhinestones. Again, zoomed out it appears of high detail, and zoomed in the detail is still there, though not as high as it can be. Overall, it's sexy, sassy & enticing.

I've heard Second Life is filled with adventure, depending on how far you take it. There's always something to be discovered, new or old. . .There's many great sims across the grid. I have had the pleasure to visit some unique sims throughout my Second Life so far. Most recently, I now see them even better with an advanced graphics card. The richness of the beauty is quite breathtaking & a leap from the ordinary graphics. For example, the look of the water itself is somewhat spiritual, in that it relaxes & soothes me. I know many residents have had this pleasure for months now, but seeing it for myself for the first time is, as simply put, awesome. Below is an example of how I get to now experience the game in-world.

This particular clip is from a current film I am working on for designer April Looming. I'm very excited to be able to work on this next level. The finish product will be posted this coming week. Stay tuned :)

There are numerous eye makers out there producing high quality pupils & irises. These contacts are more like an accessory to your eyes. They're called the Vision Thing Color Change Contacts. You wear them & they overlay on your eyes. They're channel operated via-local chat. When you have them on, you can select a color, giving your eyes (or eye if you put only one contact on) a shiny-enhanced look. There's even a glow-in-the-dark option. Lace, fishnet, satin & other eye-popping textures have been gracing my avatar - all thanks to Phia Vaughan, who, with her co-owner, Sampson Suntzu, are stepping up their creations in quality with those bigger named in Second Life. Their store, Twisted & Spoiled, offers both men & women a range of virtual fashion from apparel to hair & accessories. Ms. Vaughan was kind enough to give us a preview of products in-store for a quick review. These reviews will be done in parts - as there is much to review!

In light of the New Years celebration, this first review will be over the Kiss Me..It's Midnite in both white & black.

Sexy, naughty, fun & festive are just a few words that come to mind while admiring this outfit. It's party style hints from the sequined/mirror ball-like textures.

This outfit comes with many options - a common occurance in other TS outfits - love it!

There's a belt & no belt version; two skirt options, one mini & one near mid-length & the hat comes with an optional face light - genius!

The black version of the Kiss Me..It's Midnite outfit comes with everything like the white version & it is just as gorgeous. The outfit is completely pulled together - keeping a theme of sequins, polka dots & feathers. It's unique cut reveals the torso and back diagonally but covers the goods in a non-overly sexual manner - giving the sexy factor a whole new boost of its own.

The time has arrived - the A&E fashion video is complete!

/me takes a big breather. . . : )

I really tried to explore what all I could do for this particular video, special effects-wise. It took me a few hours to edit (in between free time), an hour to export & I'm not sure how long to upload b/c I was falling asleep waiting for it to. This is one of my longer clips for a fashion show - lots of great things to show as A&E is quite established in Second Life. Featured are A&E clothes, shoes & new skin lines. If anyone is familiar with Sachi Vixen & Damen Gorilla's work, he/she knows that much detail is included in their A&E products. I have much respect for these designers & I hope you consider checking out their wonderful store in-world. Without further ado, here is the clip:

I Heart Hip Hop

I didn't get to see this year's Hip Hop Honors, but from the few clips I saw on YouTube it looks like it went well. However, they are challenged with having to top the best performance I've seen on live tv that came from 07's honor of the living hip hop legend, Big Daddy Kane.

Big Daddy Kane, or Kane as some call him, is one of the most electrifying performers of his time. Kane is part of the grown folks music generation who contributed to the beginnings of Hip Hop - aka, "Old School." In the words of Steve Harvey, "[They] had songs that when you heard the very beginning your ass bout damn near blew up." The show lets current hip hop artists pay respect & tribute to the honorary by performing a medley of the honorary's songs. T.I., The Roots (awesome hip hop/rock band) & the also semi-legendary Common performed with a surprise performance by the legend himself - BIG DADDY KANE - he outshines the young artists - bringing back that old school flair that could get your granny out of her seat! Check the performance out & as one commenter leaves...

Well, not really! lol...I LOVE learning about new designers & new shops around the grid & seeing all the creativity everybody comes up with. Out.Rage by Delaynie Barbosa is one of those shops I've recently learned about! This outfit is sexy-casual & I can wear it from shopping to clubbing in seconds. The top not only hints to your cleavage with its plunging neckline, but it also gives a note of elegance with the upper clasp near the bottom of the neck.

The MOST impressive part of this outfit? THE PANTS!!! They are hand-drawn by the designer. . . HAND DRAWN! That definitely shows off how much talent she has in my books! Now, I am a very picky person when it comes to virtual pants - these happen to surpass any of my pickiness... the sides are seamless, the pockets give a nice tight look to the butt & they slight flare at the bottom gives an overall clean & complete look. These pants can definitely translate well with various tops & accessories. Check the store out for more goodies <3

D&F Modeling Agency has teamed up with Adam & Eve! The shoot went well, as in there wasn't as much lag this time around - who can't be thankful for low lag on SL? Anyhoo, we had lots of models to capture in the beautiful outfits by A&E - this shoot lasting nearly 2 1/2 hrs! As always, everyone was VERY patient - in video making, you just have to be.

Last night was amazing. America has elected its first President with African roots within the same century where African Americans were stripped of their civil rights & were not even allowed to vote. What a way we have come! I am so proud to see progress in our nation!

The day was filled with much anticipation, nervousness & hope. I worked all evening long, helping to cover federal, state & local races, but there was only one race really on my mind, the nations & the worlds - that of who would be declared the next President of the United States. I have followed both the Republican & Democrat campaigns since the beginning - last night felt like coming full circle for myself. I will say here that I am a Democrat, but I always try to put any biases aside to fairly consider the candidate of the other party, in this instance, John McCain. My decision was casted when I voted on election day, Tuesday, November 4th. I voted with confidence and I felt better than I ever have before while going through the voting process. . .I will never forget the feeling of being overwhelmed with joy when Senator Barack Obama was declared the President elect. A Whole Quarter

I recently had a birthday. Honestly, I had forgotten it was coming. I didn't even try to trick myself to forget it was coming either, things were just too hectic in rl & in the meantime I was trying to handle the feeling of being overwhelmed as best I could - I found that it takes lots of steady breathing, an understanding mate...and fresh newbie snacks! A big thanks to my lovely, Tristan, for hooking me up with them :) When a co-worker pointed out to me my birthday was 2 days away I stopped what I was doing, stood upward and had a sort of a 'wow' moment. I always pictured myself embracing the older me, but when I realized I was on the corner of a quarter century, I sort of freaked out, mainly realizing that time is ticking away. . .As much as I didn't expect people to remember my birthday in RL (mostly because the main person, me, didn't remember) I really expected this birthday to just wash away & be uneventful. . .that is, until my friends called me up. Thank God for such wonderful people like them in my life. I couldn't ask for better friends and family. They really made that day my day. I am so grateful to have such caring people. My love, Wu, was also there in thoughtful ways, even in SL by getting me a little cake with sparkler candles. Bless the lord for him, as well. After the days end, the fear of turning another year didn't seem so bad and it just managed to fade away.

Bees Love Blind Melon

I love music. I love all different genres of music. There are songs you recognize. Songs you can barely remember. And songs you'll never forget. In the 1990's, Blind Melon released their single called, "No Rain," featuring a young girl in a bee costume, getting laughed off stage after performing a tap dance routine - she ran from the insulting crowd, embarrassed & feeling like she was alone in the world, that is until she found a place where she felt accepted, with others who embraced the yellow and black. As a young adolescent, I could relate to her and for that, this is one of those videos & songs I'll never forget & for that here is a small tribute to Blind Melon & the Bee girl:

Sneak Peak: NEW SHOES!

So, I'm up late, working on a few things for the shops, half awake yet so wired - how that happens, I'm not entirely sure; nevertheless, I wasn't alone. The good 'ol FE group was right there with me, helping to ease the restlessness by poking fun at our odd doings. Then, Rowan Carroll, creator and owner of She's So Unusual Shoes, lets me in on a little secret - she has made NEW SHOES! AND! Not just any shoes, but sculpted snow boots! If I wasn't fully awake before, I sure was then! I quickly tried them on for size & I'm in love! The boots are a leopard print, but Rowan tells me they will be released in several colors and patterns, YAY! The release date is set for this Thursday evening SLT - make sure to stop on by and grab a pair - there you can find lots of other sexy, fun & even quirky heels/flats/platforms/sandals/SHOES! :) She also has a 1L female ao worth getting.

SLink Works the Runway!

The talented and sweet Siddean Munro, CEO of SLink, joins D&F Modeling Agency in presenting her wonderful skins! The detail on the tooshies and stomachs make me weak, not to mention how gorgeous the lips look - so lush and kissable - and I'm big on detail & I always try to keep an eye out on how well the lips are made, corresponding to the eyes.

More about the shoot! It took about 2 1/2 hrs. to film. We had a big crowd turnout. I even spotted some of the lovely ladies from FE! AKA, Fashion Emergency! The song we picked is called "Fashion Rules" by Chicks on Speed. I would've loved to play the whole song as originally recorded, but time constraints led me to chop it & remix it - I hope you like! I tried to make it as seamless as possible : ) Without further ado, here is the finished product:

Hello Oblivion!

Ever feel like making yourself over? I always do, especially since its so hard to keep a look before everyone else follows - it happens to us all I can only assume - thusssss! Tang & I went skin shopping! :))

Honestly though, I don't think it's too much of a stretch from our last skins. . .maybe in some of the leg detail and amy winehouse looking eyeliner.. :) but I must say this has to be one of my favorite skins, and tang's pixel upgrade doesn't look too shabby either hehe

In other topics...Part of playing second life is playing house/barbies all over again! I love dressing my avatar up, but it does seem a bit weird at times when I catch myself thinking "wtf am I doing, playing dress up?" But do little girls who grow into women really get over the whole playing dress up? I can't say I have...yet =F and it doesn't appear I'm alone on that

It kind of relates to wanting to be like celebrities...No, I don't want to be Britney, but I am planning on making a SL Music video with her in it sooN!!!! I can't wait, its a process and I intend to do it on my terms :)) Keep ya posted...here's my Britney version so far:

I finally finished all of the 25 new gestures for my shoppy shop - I surprised myself - U'd be surprised how long I take on each one, making sure its just right, shooO! And thennnnnnnnnnn...I did a shoot with D&F, a friend's modeling agency. I love working for such professional people, it definitely makes MY job a lot easier..which is filming =) Shoots have grown to 2 hrs. long now that we have more lovely models to capture, so It's so easy to get distracted or get whiney - but did they? NOPE! What a great group of people :) I'll post the video when I'm done

I saw a fashcon post about a model search for Reservoir, a cute edgy laid-back kind of shop, and of course I jumped on it fast! I was picked, along with 3 other lovely ladies, to model the latest Reservoir t-shirts! Here's a look at the tops I modeled:

Let's Have a Quickie

Seriously, this is a quickie before I head out to stuff my face & go to work ;)

So I was tp'd to Mirrors by my lovely friend, Iza

(work it girl, shoo!)

and mosied on into Mirai, bc lets face it - who can resist their locks? Not I! Butttt I kind've ended up goofing off and made a friend or two but finally tried on some of their new hair - if you haven't checked them out - ya should - if you like big diva hair!

Then, I went on over to the lovely Swan Hotel, one of my favvy spots to shop and saw they had a marrrvelous bag for free!! Join the group, its a must have *salivates*

Hair Fair, fair? Visit Locks of Love

Hello oblivion,

I just got done visiting the hair fair, at least a small part of it. It is 4 sims and quite laggy as expected. I'm kind of bummed though. I was really happy to read that 50% of ALL proceeds would be going to Locks of Love. . .but, sadly, that's not the case. The vendors get to pick which hair & how many it will donate. What saddens me is that there are wigs for 400L and it's not the hair that will actually benefit anyone BUT the vendor. Then alongside that is a cheaper less attractive hair that will donate 50%. The point seems to be some vendors have forgotten the purpose of this fair. It is to give hope back, and a sense of normalcy, to children who have lost their hair due to illness. When I see multiple vendors selling their products that do not help this cause, it angers me and saddens my soul. I went to the hair fair ready to spend as much as I could on hair intended for the cause. Instead, I have decided to simply donate to the kiosk themselves. That way 100% of my Lindens will go to Locks of Love. I hope you consider doing the same, too.

P.S.- There is great hair there, if you are to go I echoe many when I recommend you should detach everything and slip into something 'bare' ;) I also heard many demos are available through shop.onrez.com/, just search 'Hair Fair'

Hell Kitty

IT nearly scratched my eyeballs out when i tried to pet it, but I still love the little demon kitty that perches on my shoulder. The cute little kitten was actually a recent gift from a good friend. So thanks for the little terror lol It actually acts a lot like my rl kitty, who is black and X amount of pounds now, too heavy for anyone to WANT to have laying on their shoulder. We're off to bed for now, have a great night all ❤

Yahh, I'm soo into free stuff. This amazing mall was filled of things for 0L, from avis, wings, skins, clothes, hair, etc. I LOVE it when its really free and not a dollarbie - which there is nothing wrong with that, but if ads say FREE it better mean 0L! =) Anyhoo, I will get the name for you soon to this fab mall so anyone who wants can go collect the goodies themselves.
